The Cost Of Doing Nothing
The path of least resistance is what we all seek - its natural - in fact sought after. What will it take to spur you in to action - to do something - anything about what you know needs fixing?
Do you really want to meet a lawyer or would you prefer to have lunch with a loved one or share an experience with your child? We all make choices - that is what life is all about - trying to do what we think or feel is right for us. Yet as simple as this is or sounds...why are most people still sitting on the fence when it comes to dealing with emotional outbursts that will cost them a marrage..access to children...loss of a career or job?
Are we that scare of looking in the mirror at our own naked faults...to seek help?
Tough Times
I was surfing the net and came across this and thought it may provide some us with a frame work..or at the very least sow a seed or two
Here are some tips that will help you in tough times:
- Pull your horns in if you have cash flow problems and stop spending!
- Give yourself an honesty audit – get real – know exactly what you are dealing with!
- Gather up all your facts - fear builds up on not having all the information!
- Process all the facts – especially the ones you’d rather not look at.
- Identify what’s the worst that could happen? Take immediate action to improve on the worst.
- Be an open communicator.
- Keep communicating – silence breeds fear, insecurity and creates low morale and panic.
- Work your socks off to improve on the identified worst outcome.
- Accept each stage you are at.
- Never give up.
What has this got to do with Anger?
Well...my stress levels rise when I worry about my finances and indeed most things can trigger Anger...its knowing how and when to express it appropriately.
